Crude Oil and Copper

Good Morning

On 3rd Dec I had given a call in Crude that the Dec contract will TGT 2232 it hit the TGT yesterday evening. Those who were holding crude would have benefited tremendously. In one of earlier post a couple of days back I had expressed the view that copper could TGT 162 and it is almost there. Although we did hit the SL yesterday hoping to cover some points in copper. But anyways those who are holding on in short can continue to do so with trailing SL for the final TGT.

Lead - watch out

Good Evening,
First of all we regret not being able to provide you with our market views yesterday. Anyways we had some great calls in Gold, Crude Oil, Copper and Lead. Overall we made some huge profit with a single SL in Silver. Crude Oil if you recall our earlier post we were short for the level of 42$ around. Now the market is abuzz with news of coming down the level of 18$. I wonder how many of you will agree with that? Well for today we have decided to sit outside the market except that we are waiting for Lead to come down to the level of 48 in Dec Contract. I believe it will be good level to enter in long and one can easily get the level of 52 , but the big question is will it come down to the level specified. Well keep your fingers crossed and wait and watch.
oh by the way we have entered in long in Copper around 178 with the following call

Keep BOOKING Profit

So friends its time now to book profits in CRUDE, N Gas, Nickel, and hold Copper. Crude went on to hit our TGT1, we recommend you to book some profit over here its generating almost 8000, N Gas too is generating handsome profit around 8000 bucks, Nickel although has not achieved the TGT but then a bonus of 2500 is not bad at all. We have already minted around 4500 in Silver, so overall a great day with the exception of Gold which too went on to hit the TGTs but SL was trigerred first. Copper we are still holding on.

ALERT - Modification in Crude n Copper

Crude is trying its level best to beat the level of 50$ and so far has made at least 4 attempts. Fortunately the attempts have failed so far but then we decided to modify the calls in copper and crude.

Plz cancel the 2nd level sell call in Crude and hold the 1st sell in crude with SL of 2548

Exit short in copper ONLY IF IT trades above 186.25

Story for the day

Well finally we managed to book profit in Silver. Unfortunately in Gold the TGTs were achieved but not before it hit the SL. Copper is maintaining the sideways move with bias towards down side. Nickel has not broken the given level at the time of writing this review. Natural Gas is finally on the down trend. Crude has been trading around 2500, lets hope it hits the TGT in next couple of hours left today.

Well the ghost of US economy being slowed down has once engulfed the Equity market. Crude is falling like anything and most likely it will affect base metals as well. SO today we went short in Copper and we will stick to the following call oh by the way copper has achieved yesterday TGT

Keep Booking PROFIT

What a day it turned out to be. We booked profit early in Gold and Silver but then have no regrets, after all we minted money. And to all those who are reading this I would recommend to develop and build this characteristics of your trading.
Ok we took short position later in crude as well and as usual we booked profit although we knew that the fall in crude is not over yet, I feel it should at least touch 42$ and 38$ on exterior side.
Finally I would conclude with the
MORAL OF THE STORY..
SIMPLY KEEP BOOKING PROFIT
Its good to be in Profit rather than loosing

Gold Silver Hits the TGT

I hope your account has swollen from some good profits in Gold and Silver. Hope you booked profit at given TGTs. While Gold has achieved all the TGTs, Silver has done only 1st TGT. We hope it does all the TGTs by late evening.
Oh by the way dont forget to go short in crude if you find it around 2780, definitely you can mint some good money.

Although Crude took my expected direction..but unfortunately we missed the bus. We couldnt take any position in crude. I was expecting that crude will start its fall in the late session and will rise to 2780-2800 to begin its fall. But then thats the way it goes..you cannot have winning trades all the time in your kitty.

Gold Unlikely to shine

Sorry due some technical snag, we arrived late. But anyways let me recap the happening and expectations of the day. Gold to me appears down and it is likely to break the psychological barrier of 800$ today. I feel its most likely to trade in the range of 788-826$. In MCX I would like to use the higher levels to sell. May be around 13200 in Feb contract. I will stick to the following trade for the day in Gold.

A Friday's Market

Its 1.57 p.m. and LME is about to open. The market appears a typical Friday market. The activity so far has been dull. Gold has been trading in the range of 50 points. Yesterday in the COMEX session Gold traded in a very narrow band. Although the direction is still not clear but we decided to a small risk in Silver and have take a long position

"Buy Silver MCX Dec 17135-17100 SL 16966 TGT 17286-17400"

In the Energy segment we decided to go short in Crude oil at 2692 around.

Base metals too are in very narrow band with the exception of Nickel and Lead. In fact Lead opened quite down from Wednesday's close. Market is still not sure as of now which direction to go. We are keeping our fingers crossed. Meanwhile Mumbai continues to remain under terrorist seize, and there were some reports of hostages being killed at Trident Oberoi hotel. Whereas terrorist threw some grenades at public standing near Taj Hotel. We hope and pray that good sense will prevail upon terrorist to surrender and they should stop acting in barbarian way. This act of theirs not going to produce any result for them.

Mumbai Attack

Hello,
Last night I concluded with the lines "thats the way it goes", and by the time I had shut down my system, I got this tragic news of Mumbai being attacked by terrorist. Today the channels were filled with the news of heroic death of some police officials. Terrorist had brought the life to standstill in the city. More than 100s of people have died and around 900 were reportedly injured. And in accordance with the grim situation the markets were closed for the day. By the time of writing this we were still not sure if the markets will open tomorrow or not. We salute the gentlemen who lost their life in the service of the nation. A true hero.. all I can say is that whosoever is behind this act should have got the message by now that we will not succumb to your any kind of tactics howsoever deadly it may be. There is no dearth of brave souls in this country. Thats the way it goes..and it will continue to be like that.

Crude- Concludes the show

Hi all,
Its time to conclude today's activity. As mentioned earlier we were occupied with some pre scheduled meeting, in the meanwhile Summary of Weekly Petroleum Data for the Week Ending November 21, 2008 was up 7.3 million barrels from the previous week. While most of traders would have gone short looking at the inventory as is the trend, and it caught them on the wrong foot. It shot up sharp and triggered a lot of SL, going up from 2550 to making a new high of 2670 in Dec contract. Gold in the meanwhile made a new low of 12885 showing some weakness in the end. For us it was a day of average profit, while we missed the bus in Crude Oil, we made good profit in Zinc, average profit in Copper and Silver and we lost trades in Gold and Nickel. Overall not a great day to boast about, but anyway not a day to brood over either. We hope to have a great day tomorrow. Thats the way it goes.

Day's Highlight

Finally we did manage to book some profit in Silver (we achieved TGT1 at the time of writing this article), quite wisely we decided to set two TGTs as the market continued to trade in a volatile fashion. Crude Oil also bounced back from a low of 2525. Gold too has come up. We are still in the middle of the trading session and it will be too early to jump to any conclusion. But one thing looks pretty eminent that despite some odds a tone for the up move has been set and in tune with our morning anticipation. We might miss the final assessment of our calls at the end of the session due to our some pre scheduled meeting.

Bullions whats in store

Zinc is Roaring

Zinc as of now has made high of 93.95 against our new revised TGT of 64 almost done. In the morning we gave you the view that its gonna remain strong for the TGT of 70. Anyways we feel its good to remain on long side in Zinc for the time being.

Lead - the leader is behind

In base metals usually Zinc follows Lead but in last couple of sessions its the opposite or lets say its not following zinc but is not the usual Lead that we know. Although it looks to go up slightly but because of narrow band we prefer to avoid it.
